i was shocked when i read you had passed, Susie.  You were a big part of my childhood.  We played together, we were pretty inseparable until you became such an incredible ice skater and left me behind.  I went to Twain Harte with your family and loved it.  I loved hanging out with you.  We went our separate ways, but i am still crushed to hear of your passing. What a loss for your family and friends, including me.  Rest in Peace!

Was it Susie that skated for the Ice Capades? I can't remember clearly enough to remember for sure

Susan's bio from the 40th reunion states "Thirteen years on the road with Ice Follies, Holiday on Ice, Holiday on Ice International, Great America Ice Show, Stars on Ice Singapore, Ice Follies Las Vegas.  Twenty five years as skating director of Eastridge  Ice Arena. I am most proud of passing on my love of skating to many. Being paid to do something I love. . ."

I ran into Susie some time after graduation & she told me all about her adventures traveling with ice skating shows. She so loved to skate & her stories were mesmerizing. I am saddened to hear that she had passed. I will miss hearing all about her her adventures in life. So sad that so many have left us. Makes me appreciate that I am still walking on this earth & will count all my blessings. You will be missed Susie.

She's one of those people who shows us how true it is that what matters is not how long you live, but how much you live.

So sad that Susie has left us. I remember her as a friendly, charismatic girl.  What a wonderful career and legacy she leaves behind. Was she married? Any children?
