I didn't know Lynda well, but was inspired by her brother John Yasuda, a champion, committed wrestler. I'm very sorry for the Yasuda family, and may Lynda rest in peace.
I met Lynda in fourth grade at Oak Park Elementary. We didn't know each other very well, but she was in my Girl Scout troop. They had the most beautiful yard on the street, and her mom gave us a presentation on flowers and gardening in their beautiful rose garden. I remember Lynda sharing that world with us.
