Started teaching at San Diego City College in 1974. Coached basketball here from 1974 til 1987. Went to Germany and coached professionally there for eight wonderful years, winning a couple of National championships with Women, several state championships with 15-17 yr boys and also girls. Returned to SDCC in 1995 to my position of Adjunct Professor and Asst Basketball coach. Stopped coaching after the 2002 season but remain in the HESA Department.
