Von was a friend, I have tried to find his where a outs for some time, now I know. He was a very funny guy and he and I got in a lot of trouble because of our cutting up in class.
I remember going skiing at Heavenly with Von and my brother. Von didn't know he could turn down the dash lights and was thrilled that he could actually see outside with them dimmed. Such a wonderfully happy man.
I had the biggest crush on Von but he never paid me the slighest attention I mean he was nice to me & all but never anything more. I remember Sharon Foley & I used to find any excuse to hang out with him. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. Does anyone know what happened to him?
Myke and Linda, here's what I have on Von. Last October, in my searching for our classmates, I found Von in the Social Security Death Index. He was born 3-Sept-1946 and died 13-May-2006. At the time of our 40th reuion in 2005 he lived in La Mesa, CA, and I believe the SSDI gives his last residence as San Diego. Sorry I don't have anything further.
