Happy Holidays to all!
This has been quite the year indeed!
I,be watched all of the Happy birthdays on the site and reflected on our mutual turning to 70 years of living. Listened to your tales of travel and important events smiling along the way.
This year has been historical to me and most likely to many of you as well.
We started which the passing of Stephen and Kathy Carlsons’ daughter Shannon followed by an old friend of ours from Murphy’s, Ca. My wife’s father followed, with my father shortly afterwards. It seeemed as if we came home from one to just get ready for the next.
Passing of parents is expected. Reflections of long we’ll lived lives mixed with the sad thoughts of being un able to share the future with them.
Losing Shannon to her long and well fought battle with cancer was very hard. She and my daughter Sarah were infant and toddler friends and she holds a dear spot in my heart.
We lost a good deal of our summer to an evacuation due to the Chetco Bar Fire. Lots of ash, smoke and a few close flames. But nothing compared to the ordeal faced by Myke and Dave Judd in the Santa Rosa Area. My thoughts were truly with all of the victims of that tradjedy.
So, this year has sure been a milestone of a year in so many of our lives. Over all I find myself still happy and greatful to be around to experience all there is to come. I sincerely hope this note finds all of you in the best of spirits and enjoying the people around you. Paul
Hi Marcia,
I was going to call and say hello but lost your card. If you check this site out from time to time say hi. Paul
Hi David,
Thanks for the wishes and hello. As you can tell by date I do not get on the site often but enjoy it when I do. Hope all is well with you!
